Christine Baker and Dr. Iva Vurdelja spent over 20 years individually as organizational consultants and executive coaches before coming together 15 years ago to rethink how to develop senior leaders and their organizations. We recognized that the conventional behavioral approach to development was not creating the sustainable impact our clients needed.

We combine executive and consulting experience in business, rigorous scientific inquiry, leadership, and extensive education in adult learning and development. After 4000 executive coaching sessions focusing on cognitive and emotional development, we have accumulated comprehensive data and a deeper understanding of what leaders need – and how a different approach is required to create enduring leadership performance transformation.

Christine Baker,
MSc. Organizational Behavior

is the Founder of Requisite Development. She has built an international reputation over 30 years as an executive coach and strategic adviser, serving senior executives across Europe, the Middle East, and the USA in a wide range of industry sectors. Before changing her career to executive coaching and consulting in the 1990s, Christine held senior leadership roles in the banking sector. This experience allows her to understand organizational challenges and dynamics from her clients’ perspectives and ensures a pragmatic approach to helping them develop appropriate solutions.

Iva Vurdelja,
Ph.D.

is a certified executive coach, organizational change strategist, and independent scholar-practitioner. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies and public sector leaders to develop organizational and personal transformation strategies. Her practice focuses on the impact of adult cognitive development and emotional intelligence on leadership capabilities for creating innovative, socially conscious, and purpose-driven organizations. Currently, she coaches leaders in global organizations and government agencies on how to build inner capabilities.
