CHRISTINE BAKER, MSC. ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR,

is the Founder of Requisite Development. She has built an international reputation over 30 years as an executive coach and strategic adviser, serving senior executives across Europe, the Middle East, and the USA in a wide range of industry sectors. Before changing her career to executive coaching and consulting in the 1990s, Christine held senior leadership roles in the banking sector. This experience allows her to understand organizational challenges and dynamics from her clients’ perspectives and ensures a pragmatic approach to helping them develop appropriate solutions.

Her expertise in cognitive and emotional development, team dynamics, and strategic thinking helps her clients gain fresh insights into how they think about themselves, their work, their teams, and their organization,and how to grow their capabilities in leading complex change.

Christine works with people who want to understand or change themselves, or a situation, but need help with the ‘how’. She helps them find their incentive for and commitment to that change which will fuel their efforts and increase the probability of success.

Christine says, “Whilst no two clients have been the same, I realize that people have universal aspirations, needs, and fears. Some want to grow, whereas others are fearful of the change and disruption that comes with growth. I see my role as helping them to raise their self-awareness, to be true to themselves whilst gaining the courage to face change, and to challenge deep-seated assumptions about themselves and others that may be holding them back. I believe that if you have a strong incentive to change something in yourself or in your life, you just need a gentle steer, a mirror to reflect what is happening along the way, and encouragement to carry through when times get tough. ‘It is only when we are at our most fragile, that we discover our true power.’”
